Overview
The Order of St. John ruled over the island of Malta for 268 years and left a unique cultural legacy of which Valletta is the prime example - as you will see on this guided tour through the city's vibrant streets.
Your first port of call is taking in the breathtaking view of the Grand Harbour from the pleasantly refined Upper Barracca Gardens.
Next take a visit to St. John’s Co-Cathedral and gaze in awe at the Flemish tapestries, the church musuem and the Caravaggio masterpieces which hang in the Oratory. As well as looking up, don't forget to look down as the Co-Cathedral houses one of the most beautiful marble inlaid floors in the world.
A trip down Republic Street will take you past the Grand Masters’ Palace and recently restored St. George’s Square before embellishing your knowledge of the area by watching the Malta Experience, an audiovisual show where Malta’s history throughout the centuries is brought back to life.
