Overview
With its colourful luzzus and distinct character, the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk makes an unrivalled setting for a local market and this is where you will start this 'triple-header' tour.
After browsing the various wares, bartering with the stall owners and rubbing shoulders with the locals on their traditional Sunday morning shop, it is time to take to the water (weather permitting - boat price of approx €8 not included).
Boarding your vessel, admire the blue expanse of the Mediterranean and the islet of Filfla as you head to the Blue Grotto - a number of photogenic sea caverns - and nearby caves.
Back on land, your guide will help you explore one of Malta’s unspoilt villages. From the main square, the hub of the village with its parish church and band club, you will be led through a maze of winding narrow streets that all have a story to be told.
