This action-packed tour features a wealth of highlights and what's more, you will be travelling around in the spacious, air-conditioned comfort offered by a Land Rover Defender Jeep.
After being collected from your hotel, you'll be taken to Miżieb, home of the imposing Red Tower, and Popeye's Village where you will stop for a visit (optional). Next, take an exciting (but safe) off-road track as you make your way to Golden Bay where you'll stop for a drink (optional) or a swim before enjoying the breathtaking views at Mġarr and Fomm ir-Riħ.
Take a wander around the filmmaker's paradise of Mdina, pay a visit to the Mosta Dome, and then negotiate the twisty hillside roads that leads to Naxxar, - home of houses which are over 500 years old - before stopping for a well earned lunched.
Post sustinence, you'll drive round Valletta, 'Malta's World Heritage Capital City' and enjoy great views of the Grand Harbour before proceeding towards historical Vittoriosa - the city founded by the Romans in 200 BC - for a 30 minute stop.
From Birgu you head to the Neolithic Temples of Ħal Tarxien (entrance optional) which date back to 3500 BC before a short visit to Marsaxlokk Fishing Village and then the Blue Grotto where those who would like to take a boat trip to visit the amazing nearby caves (optional boat ride - weather permitting) can do so.
